WTTTW - World Traditional Table Tennis World
The inaugural WTTTW World Cup was held in Macau in January, 2024. The next Tournament is being planned for December 2025 in Hanoi, Vietnam. Details are yet to be confirmed.
ICTTF - International Classic Table Tennis Federation
STAG Global Classic Table Tennis World Cup, Brazil, January 20-25 2026, Três Coroas City.
Ping Pong Scotland and English Classic Table Tennis are affiliated to the ICTTF. As such, we each have a number of guaranteed qualifying spots to award for the Classic TT World Cup in Brazil. This year (2025) PPS and ECTT have agreed to combine our spots. We will award spots to the top players over the 2025 season - the English Open Sandpaper, the Scottish Open Classic and the English Open Classic - based on a points system.
In addition, any player who has entered at least one of our events and is a member of the ICTTF may apply for a place at STAG Global Classic Table Tennis World Cup - Brazil - 2026. These places are not guaranteed and will be first-come-first-served according to availability after the guaranteed spots are taken up.

Points system:
30 points for entering an Open event.
plus, 10 points for qualifying from the Group
plus, 10 points for reaching the last 8,
plus, 20 points for reaching the last 4,
plus, 10 points for Runner-Up, 30 points for Winner.
Each player's points will be added up over the six Open events to reach their total for the 2025 season.
